On the morning of August 26, Headmaster Rajendra Dawadi was preparing for what appeared to be an ordinary school day at Tribhuvan Trishuli Secondary School. Inside and around the three-storey school building were 1,643 students and members of staff. Then came the warning. Dawadi received an urgent call that a devastating flood was moving rapidly through the Trishuli Valley. With little time to assess the situation, he made a decision that would prove life-saving: evacuate the school immediately. He sounded the school bell and instructed teachers to get the children out of their classrooms. School buses were contacted and told to turn back, while students were directed toward higher ground.  Pastor Daysman Oyakhilome Explains Why Prayer Is the Foundation of Effective Cell Ministry Pastor Daysman Oyakhilome has emphasized the indispensable role of prayer in building effective cell ministries and advancing soul winning, teaching that true ministry success begins long before believers gather for a meeting. Speaking during a recent sermon, he explained that prayer is not merely a spiritual routine but the force that mobilizes heaven ahead of every evangelistic effort. According to him, believers who labor in prayer are not carrying out God’s work alone, as heaven actively partners with them through divine orchestration. Drawing from the biblical account of Cornelius and the Apostle Peter in Acts 10, Pastor Daysman Oyakhilome described how God prepared both the messenger and the recipient before they ever met. He noted that while an angel directed Cornelius to seek Peter, God simultaneously prepared Peter through a vision, demonstrating what he described as God’s coordinat...

Drawing from the biblical account of Jesus cursing the fig tree despite Scripture stating that it was not the season for figs, Pastor Daysman explained that the passage reveals God’s unwavering expectation for believers to produce spiritual results regardless of circumstances. According to him, the lesson was never about Jesus reacting out of hunger or frustration, but about demonstrating the mindset of the Lord of the harvest, who continually looks for fruit from His people. Preaching from the Gospel account where Jesus approached a fig tree in search of fruit, Pastor Daysman challenged the common perception that the incident was merely a reaction to the tree’s inability to bear fruit because it was not the season.
